Rear shock mud flap
Every time that i give the girl a wash I notice that there is a lot of dirt on the rear shock. Upon investigating this I noticed that the rear mud guard does not protect the rear shock sufficiently. I took it upon myself to cut a piece of rubber from an old car mat and screw it to the mud flap which already has two mounting holes in it. These holes are probably left over from the original design that was probably cut due to cost saving. I had a pack of 3 mm bolts and nuts laying around and they fit perfectly. Just cut a piece out to accommodate the overflow pipes and add a washer to prevent rip outs. The rubber flap is free hanging and so it flexes with the movement of the shock. 10 minutes later and I was able to close that chapter.
